What a week! You may have been distracted by Whoopi Goldberg and the Joe Rogan kerfuffle with Spotify. Hey, so were we! With so much content, sometimes good stories might get slept on. Here are three from this past week we feel deserve another shot.
75% of Americans disagree with Joe Biden's discriminatory hiring practices for the Supreme Court:
"That's why it's amusing Joe Biden screwed this up. He could have just said nothing. He could have just picked a nominee who happened to be black and happened to be a woman. Everyone would have known he 'fulfilled his campaign promise.' But because being a Democrat means not only pandering to leftists but also signaling your virtue to them, Biden said it aloud. The President of the United States announced that when it comes to one of the most important decisions of his presidency, he doesn't care about qualifications or adherence to the constitution. That's not as important as the percentage of melanin and possession of lady bits."
Joe Biden thinks the US Constitution can be manipulated to CURTAIL your rights. That means take them away.
"Hearing a politician--the President of the United States--say that the Constitution evolves to CURTAIL rights is new. And terrifying. This is a president who, as hard as he and the people who control him have tried, had the Supreme Court tell him he couldn't curtail rights not once but twice in the past year. This is why we tell you to pay attention to Australia. Or Canada. Those countries are what happens when citizens don't have a supreme law that protects them from an overzealous federal government."
And some schmuck tried robbing Raj's gas station. But Raj is a gun owner, and you don't mess with Raj.
What makes the story is listening to Raj's neighbors sing his praises. Raj donated to his local community center and library. Raj is even the grand marshall of the 4th of July parade. Everyone loves Raj, except, mayhaps, for the nogoodnik who tried robbing him: "I just wanted to teach him the lesson that robbing and stealing is not okay."
