Teacher Puts Hands on Student for Not Wearing Mask Properly, Verbally Attacks Him and His Father

Teacher Puts Hands on Student for Not Wearing Mask Properly, Verbally Attacks Him and His Father

Last week, we relayed the story of Kamden Hernandez, a 9-year-old boy attending a California elementary school who has been bullied by the faculty and eventually suspended for not wearing a mask. To make a long story short, Kamden has ADHD. The school knows he has this learning disability and that masks make it difficult for him to focus. They don’t care. For a little more, check out here.

But that wasn’t the full story. The school claimed there was never an issue with the mask until late in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 school year. Well, in the immortal words of Maury Povich, “That was a lie.”

RedState reports that, as it turns out, Kamden’s father began to draw the ire of the public school system after wearing a shirt that said “Speak for the voiceless. Unmask our kids. Kids Lives Matter.” The event took place at the end of the 2020-2021 school year and ruffled enough feathers that complaints circulated all the way up to the state DOE, which sided against the school district. So one can forgive one for believing everything that transpired the following year to be, at least partially, in retaliation.

On the very first day of school the following year, August 11, 2021, a teacher chastised Kamden, calling him “rude and disrespectful” when a teacher noticed he wasn’t wearing his mask properly. And investigator looked into the incident following a formal complaint but found nothing wrong with the statement, saying there was nothing belittling about her words because her “intent” wasn’t to belittle. (I love how intent matters here to defend teachers but never matters when leftists want to destroy someone.)

The following day, a substitute physically pulled Kamden’s mask up over his nose. Absolutely no school allows a teacher to touch a student. She claimed that she managed to move his mask without actually touching Kamden’s face, a claim that sounds as farfetched as anything else these people say in the classroom. But the investigator believed the teacher.

On August 13, after a phone call during which the principal demonstrated just how few f*cks she gave about Kamden’s difficulty to learn while wearing a mask, Mr. Hernandez arrived to pick him up. Video of their interaction was captured by Mr. Hernandez. However, the story told by school staff doesn’t seem to match up.

“When Parent entered campus on August 13, 2021, Parent attempted to intimidate Mrs. Perryman by video recording her and stating, ‘This is the woman who is emotionally abusing my son. She is retaliating against me and my son. I am going to ruin her career. I hope the $160 thousand salary was worth losing.’ In addition to the August, 13, 2021 interaction with Parent, Mrs. Perryman had had additional encounters with Parent in which he punched his fist in her face and was screaming/spitting at her to the point where other parents were upset enough to call the police.”

Hey, guys, guess what. That’s all a lie, too. As RedState reports,

“In another letter to Hernandez the district claims these calls to the police and to 911 were made on May 7, 2021. A Public Records Act request for listings of any 911 calls made from the vicinity of Garden Grove Elementary School on that date around dismissal time returned no results, and Hernandez says that he called the Simi Valley Police Department to ask if any calls had come in that day and that he was told none had.”

All-in-all, this situation illustrates just how conniving and duplicitous public school staff can be. They’ll demean your children and force them into complying. They’ll lie—to their superiors, to the police, and to parents. And they don’t take kindly to uppity parents who question their authority to do whatever they see fit within the walls of their tiny domain.

RedState promises there’s more of this story to come, but one finds it difficult to think about what other behaviors these individuals could be demonstrating to necessitate another article.
