Public University Spends Nearly $541 Per Minute for ‘Racial Equity’ Lecture From Ibram Kendi

According to documents obtained by The Daily Wire via the Freedom of Information Act, the University of Virginia spent $32,500—or approximately $541 per minute—to have the grand wizard of Critical Race Theory come and lecture them about racism.

Ibram Kendi has quite the racket going. He can earn tens of thousands of dollars in minutes and simultaneously accuse the entire country of being racists, bigots, cogs in the racist mechanisms that keep this country trucking inexorably into our equally racist future. All the while, we know he’s full of sh*t. He knows he’s full of sh*t. But, man, the anti-racism racket is a fruitful one.

I don’t know about you, but I wish I could make $30k in an hour.

As per his contract negotiated between the university and Penguin Random House, no video or audio recording of the lecture was allowed, which is probably for the best because anything espoused in support of the anti-racist dogma would indubitably be a racist diatribe in and of itself. Naturally, everything that exits Kendi’s mouth is an inane cognitive toxin meant only to infect the dumbest and most receptive, and none of it holds up under scrutiny.

While the left still attempts to argue that Critical Race Theory is an esoteric analytical tool only discussed in law schools, it continues to bring in the big bucks as universities promote it to a wider audience. And, I know from personal experience, that CRT is interwoven into all manner of curricula. Hell, it’s mixed into all manner of education in K-12, too, just ask this guy.

Its ubiquitous nature, however, is much of the problem. It may be ignorant tripe, but CRT is relentless in its takeover of the academy and the wider culture at large, and as is noted by The Daily Wire, conservative voices who would push back against this unfounded narrative are not provided the same large platforms to combat CRT as those who take the podium to cough out its tired talking points. Universities are super-spreaders of ignorance in this respect.

Congrats, everyone. The University of Virginia is a public university, which means your tax dollars went to line Kendi’s pockets. How do you feel about that?
