Democrat Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker is following the political science and lifting mask mandates. Yes, science shows the mandates should have already been lifted as Republicans have been doing. As for "the science," that tends to be whatever unelected government bureaucrats tell Joe Biden it is. And the political science tells Democrats if they keep ignoring angry parents, they'll lose their jobs. Teachers' union-controlled school boards are the last holdouts. The unions are the ones who wrote the sciencey CDC guidelines, and they never cared about parents or students even before the pandemic. Exhibit Q of this is a school board member freaking out on a speaker for not wearing a mask.
It's almost two years past fifteen days to flatten the curve and Mask Chets are still acting like this. I've decided "Mask Chets" are the male version of "Mask Karens."
