Listen: Jordan Peterson Releases Anti-Trudeau Protest Song, and It Actually Slaps!

When Jordan Peterson tweeted that he recorded and released a song dedicated to Justin Trudeau, my initial thought was the dude may have lost his mind. They broke Peterson. Trudeau and his side chick who is seizing your bank accounts announcing martial law was one leftist action too many. Peterson had been pushing back against this nonsense for so many years, and the man could only be expected to do put up with so much.
Then I listened to the song. I swear in the name of all that is good and sweet in Neil Peart, this song actually slaps!
VIDEOSong by Jordan B Peterson: Wake Up youtu.be
What are the seeds you've sewn?
That left you all alone?
You should be doing well,
You could have built a home,
But now you're on your own,
You should be acting well,
You should climb off your throne,
And see what you've been shown,
You might think this is hell.
I can't see this playing out well.
I don't know where to go.
I don't know where to turn.
You should be waking up.
JP wrote the lyrics and co-wrote the music with Skutch Tully. Peterson and Tully did the vocals. The images were from artist Juliette Fogra.
The song appears to address three different things. One is Justin Trudeau being a tyrant. The other is the protestors, who were put into a position by Trudeau where they felt this was their only action. It's a sentiment echoed in Peterson's message to the truckers , and when a spokesman for the Freedom Convoy used Peterson's platform to issue a mission statement .
The third thing addressed are the people watching along at home. People who have either been "woken up" by the protests, or need to wake up. Protestors are having their credit cards and personal bank accounts frozen for speaking out against the government. If you don't see what's going on or, worse, support the actions because you hate the people to which its happening, wake the f*ck up.
I'll be honest. If Jordan Peterson is entering the "Sgt. Pepper" stage in his career, I'm all for it. Now we just need Peterson, Joe Rogan, James Lindsay, and a bunch of others all jamming out to "All You Need is Love."
