Our friends up north are still going at it. Even as the media in Canada calls for the military to swoop in like a Nazi offensive, the truckers are holding the line far better than any French city could—which is strange because they speak French up there in Canada…
Things haven’t been sitting still, though. I mean, the trucks aren’t going anywhere, but the situation is developing. Here are just a few updates on the Canadian Freedom Convoy.
1. Sending in the cavalry!
The weekend started and the party just got larger in Ottawa. Joining our big rig patriots, Canadian cowboys (a phrase I never thought I’d ever type) rode into Ottawa on horseback. It would seem that our “small, fringe minority” is only growing.

Watching the horses trot in makes me wish we could claim this movement as American, but we are being outdone by these guys. And as expected, they continue to be gentlemen, regardless of what the Canadian and American media attempt to say.

2. Down with the tyrants!
Perhaps you’re wondering how all of these protesters manage to provide for themselves, y’know, food, drink, etc. Well, it’s thanks to people like Anna and Bernadette, Polish immigrants to Canada, who were lovely enough to drive to Ottawa from Toronto with a van full of bread, buns, donuts, and 1550 Polish sausages.

“We stand behind them [the protesters]. We come from a communist country, and we came here because we didn’t want to have oppression. We wanted to live in a free country. And for the last two years, we’re living like prisoners. We are being told to stay at home. We’re told not to go to the restaurant, not to go to the church! I mean, this is unbelievable. During communism times, we were able and free to go to the church.”
3. You can’t stop the revolution!
GoFundMe is a garbage company. They had no problem fundraising for the Antifa terrorists in CHAZ, they had no problem doing it to pay the bails of BLM rioters who literally burnt down cities and killed people, but they seem to have a huge issue with fundraising for some peaceful trucker who just so happen to like to honk their horns a bit. GoFundMe has canceled the fundraising effort on its platform, initially saying it would disperse the funds to other “approved” charities. The money is now supposed to be refunded to donors.
But immediately after GoFundMe decided to act on its preferred politics, a new fundraiser began at GiveSendGo, the Christian crowd-funding site. It has managed to bring in money even faster than the GoFundMe account even as it experiences efforts to crash its services.
One person must have been in an especially giving mood—as most seem to be in Ottawa (See Anna and Bernadette)—because he or she donated $215,000 in a single donation! Several other people have given $20,000, $18,000, and (I think this might have been an American) $17,760. Freedom Convoy GiveSendGo.
