If there was one person you could expect to see on the news nearly every day during Trump's presidency it was Rep. Adam Schiff. The man had to have a fort somewhere in the studio, made of a patchwork of security blankets he's been collecting for years. No doubt you'd find a teddy bear or two in there. But poor little Schiff hasn't been the big star he thought he was since Biden moved into the white house. With Jen Psaki as press secretary, the Dems have all the lie peddling they need. Schiff probably spends most of his days curled up in a corner of his office sucking his thumb, mumbling about Russian collusion and impeachment.
He's back, though, and he's doing the same old song and dance! Of course, his target is a little different these days. He has his sights on a handful of GOP lawmakers, Kevin McCarthy, in particular. He's an "insurrectionist in a suit and tie," Schiff says. Setting aside the fact that the claim is patently ridiculous, how can anyone take this man seriously? Why would any media outlet even think to have him on? Schiff is not only a weasel, he's a proven liar! And this will just be another idiotic claim, another bald-faced lie, to add to the list!
But he's not done, gang! Schiff would never be satisfied with just pouting on air. He must ensure his future in the spotlight, so he gives us a preview of his next big number. Drumroll please! *cue the snares* Schiff has subpoenaed four Trump aides and is debating pulling McCarthy in to testify about the Jan 6 riot—because this must also stay in the news until the rapture! And those individuals who refuse to comply with Schiff's demands? Well, he's gonna get big mad and charge them with contempt! Schiff's 0-2 with this kind of stuff, though… I don't think anyone is afraid of little Pencil Neck.
