Canada Threatens Federal Employees Using 'Any Variation' of 'Let's Go Brandon,' in Correspondence

The 'F*ck Joe Biden' movement has gone international! They're chanting it in Italy. In Canada, it would appear, they are going for the more polite 'Let's Go Brandon.'

A letter has surfaced on Twitter, allegedly from a Canadian government agency. The Daily Wire reports the agency is "responsible for providing and consolidating information technology services across federal government departments." In the letter, federal employees were warned about using "colloquialisms or sayings with intended double meaning or offense." Failure to obey would result in termination "without recourse or labor union participation." One specific saying or colloquialism was specified.

The money quote:

"Specifically, the use of the wording 'Let's Go Brandon' and any variation thereof under any circumstance is banned by the Canadian Public Service."

The obvious question that comes to mind is just how many 'Let's Go Brandon' memes were being shared by Canadian government employees in official Canadian government employee correspondence. It would appear, enough for someone to receive AN ACTUAL LETTER. Like, there is (allegedly) a Chanucklehead somewhere who ordered his assistant to take a memo to address the 'Let's Go Brandon' incident.

If I were to guess, the offending meme was the one of an exasperated Obama saying, "No, Joe, that's not what 'F*ck Joe Biden' means." Without knowing the reference, it was assumed the meme was racist. The meme was reported to Human Resources. Middle management lept to action before Justin Trudeau found out and started crying.

There is also the chance the letter is inauthentic, and we're being punk'd. Could I do my due diligence and research the letter myself? Meh. Unlike CNN lying about Joe Rogan, I never claimed to be the most trusted name in news.
