Police Refuse to Comply with Australian Mandate, So the Government Might Fire Them

Australia continues to be an example to the world of what a real sh*t show can look like. In a brilliant move that only the most mentally deficient of tyrants could rationalize, 34 police officers and 9 public safety officers in the state of Victoria are on the verge of being fired for noncompliance with the state vaccine mandate.

As per the law, emergency service workers were required to be vaccinated no later than October 15. Presently, the officers have been "stood down", though they may be subject to disciplinary action and termination.

Of course, this comes after months of lockdowns across Australia. In Victoria, those lockdowns are set to start gradually lifting this Friday. Perhaps it might be because of the drop in COVID cases and rise in vaccinations. If so, I'm sure the good citizens of Victoria can expect to be locked down again soon enough. Or maybe it's due to the growing discontent amongst the citizenry.

CNN reported:

"From Friday, a nightly curfew will be lifted and freedom of movement restored in Melbourne, Australia's second largest city. Meanwhile, up to 10 people will be allowed to visit homes, and shops and restaurants can reopen with limited capacity."

Yes, the government is going to begin to "allow people" to go to other people's houses. How any population would put up with this crap for this long is mind-boggling.

Victorians, and Australians more broadly, can probably look forward to the Aussie Gestapo keeping a close eye on them moving forward. One can't have too much freedom, mind you!

I suppose there might be a need to hire more officers soon, some that won't mind playing by the rules.
