Joe Biden's White House continued its campaign to ensure people who are V-word hesitant remain that way. The administration released a widely panned video with alleged "influencer" Benny Drama. What he influences I have no idea, but it's definitely not getting shots in arms. Unless the plan is to threaten people with more stupid videos UNLESS they get shots in arms. If Joe Biden doesn't call a lid before breakfast today, I'd love to hear Jen Psaki questioned on that.
More remarkable than the brainstorm session that led to the White House video is how quickly two people were able to turn around a parody. The White House no doubt worked with the expensive camera crew and makeup team. Samantha Marika and Edward? I'm guessing a smartphone and a copy of Adobe Premier. You youngbloods will have to tell me if this qualifies as a clapback.
Should we have Fauci announce the new variant? We need a scarier name though. Delta just wasn't it.
Ooooh, what about the CHUCKY variant?
I mean ...
When you see it, you can't not see it.
For those who haven't wanted to gouge their eyes out with a rusty spoon this month, here is the source material being lampooned.
As funny as the parody is, it doesn't even capture the true essence of what it's like being a White House intern. People still have a glamorous, The West Wing-esque vision of what working for president is like. When really, the interns get treated worse than landlords and people who enter the country legally. If I were to guess, half of the intern's job is to sit in front of a computer for six hours reporting Facebook memes. Then, they flip a coin. Heads and they have to go change the boom-boom POTUS left in his underpants. Tails and they replace the person whose job is to stand there and let any angry Kamala Harris throw shoes at them. It's the only way to get her to calm down after reading poll numbers.
