Few people on this planet are more pathetic than those who troll celebrity Twitter accounts to make sure they aren't liking the "wrong" tweets. Not tweeting the wrong things themselves, but LIKING other users' tweets. The Taliban and Joe Biden are up there. These assclowns round out the top three. They are currently coming after country music superstar Carrie Underwood for liking a tweet opposing school mask mandates. Because Underwood is a parent, and like most parents (and students) she's concerned. (h/t Whiskey Riff, which if you like country music is fanfreakingtastic)

Of course, it would have to be a Matt Walsh tweet.

Twitter and the collective thereof are OUTRAGED! Carrrie Underwood liked a wrong tweet. Wrong, because it goes against the liberal narrative! And people can't possibly like celebrities who have a different opinion than them! Here are some of the silly things people have been saying:

"Just saw the Carrie Underwood news. Please respect my privacy at this time."

"We have no choice but to unstan."

"y'all really shocked by Carrie Underwood being anti-mask? like she's exactly the kind of person who would be lol."

'Your reminder that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher don't give a shit about the pandemic or how many people have died unnecessarily from it. Do better, @carrieunderwood, this is embarrassing and dangerous."

"andddddd carrie underwood can fuck all the way off."

There is also a lot of chirping about Carrie being an anti-v*xxer. That makes the least amount of sense. If you follow science like Underwood and I do (as opposed to "the" science) you would know that getting your shots protects you from getting really sick (at least in theory) and therefore you don't need a mask that doesn't protect you much and never really has.

No word on Carrie Underwood apologizing for this mortal sin of liking a tweet. She was trending for twenty-four hours, so I'm sure there is a PR firm somewhere with a statement written up begging for everyone's forgiveness. Hopefully, she stands her ground and refuses to cave to the outrage mob. Or, and this is an option, she can just not care because a handful of idiots on Twitter have the same stupid opinion.

Twitter needs to be told to shut the f*ck off once and a while. Hopefully, Underwood stands strong. It's what Miranda Lambert would do.
