Allow me to give Jen Psaki a modicum of credit. She saw her boss Joe Biden, our president, the commander in chief and the most popular president ever, laugh off a reporter who asked about Americans trapped in Afghanistan. Knowing what was coming, she decided to call on Peter Doocy anyway. Whether or not she downed a few White Claws before having to deal with the press again, I can neither confirm nor deny.

This is her gassing in round three. She had to pretend the commander in chief of the United States of America did not just laugh off a question about Americans trapped in Afghanistan. Though in her attempt to answer the question without answering the question, she accidentally let it slip that we are negotiating with the Taliban. Yes. We've gotten to the point where we are communicating with the people who threatened us if we don't meet their deadline. Methinks we'll be circling back to that at some point today.
