Script-flipping time. Media has so far given a lions share of the attention to Olympic athletes who've either quit or badmouthed the country they represent. Time to switch it up and celebrate winners who actually love America. Meet Tamyra Mensah-Stock, who took the gold medal in female wrestling. She was interviewed about her win and how she feels about her country. Her spirit and cheer are downright infectious. I DARE YOU not to smile and fall in love with her.

Tamyra Mensah-Stock is the first black woman to win Olympic wrestling, so she just made history. And rather than bad mouth her country or sit out to protest some cause back home, Mensah-Stock gushed with grateful feelings, emotion about her late father who would've "cheered the loudest" for her had he still been alive, and injected the Olympic scene with the patriotism it should embrace every minute it's aired.
This is what Americans love: a winner who not only conquers in her field, but isn't afraid to show love for the nation she calls home, wrapping the flag around her shoulders, giving love to the country that loves her back.
We got you, Tamyra. And thanks for having us.
