Joe Rogan Joins Twitter Alternative GETTR in Response to Big Tech Censorship and TONS of People Followed

Big Tech overlords suck! YouTube demonetizes and suspends conservatives. Facebook throttles certain pages to drive traffic down for the people they don’t like. And Twitter gets its rocks off censoring all kinds of people. Some people are seeing the writing on the wall and acting accordingly, and one of those people is the great philosopher and truth-seeker Joe Rogan.

After the inventor of mRNA vaccine technology Dr. Robert Malone was suspended from Twitter just before Rogan’s interview with him went live, one can assume Rogan started to feel a little uneasy. But on the day Representative Majorie Taylor Greene was suspended for sharing COVID-related statistics—and it can’t be said that it’s connected to the announcement—Rogan came out to say that he had joined the new alternative to Twitter, GETTR.

“Just in case sh*t over at Twitter gets even dumber, I’m here now as well. Rejoice!”

The sh*t over at Twitter is definitely going to get dumber, and others are taking notice, as well.

“The tremendous increase in sign-ups was a 782% increase from Jan. 1 and a 1357% increase from the week before. […] GETTR, which does not cancel people for their political opinions, officially launched on July 4th, 2021 and now has more than three million registered users. GETTR achieved its first million users less than three days after launch and cemented its place in history as the fastest growing social media platform ever. By comparison, Twitter took 24 months to attract one million users while Facebook took 10 months.”

As Twitter stock plummets, it looks like GETTR might be the last nail in the coffin for the censorship-happy platform.

Long live freedom of speech! Joe Rogan gets it.
