China, home of the original China Virus (COVID-19), has taken some extreme steps to mitigate the spread of COVID ever since it escaped from the Wuhan lab. Some of these measures have been worse than eve places like Australia, which, while being expected of a country controlled by communists, is also very impressive. Something China did that no one else thought of was anal swab tests for COVID.
Now, we were told US diplomats were exempt from the invasive procedure, but through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Judicial Watch has acquired documents, including emails, that reveal diplomats were, in fact, subjected to the test.
In one email, a diplomat writes that one “colleague from [redacted] telling our group [redacted] that he was given an anal COVID swab at his apartment.” The incident apparently occurred in Beijing, where the Olympics will be held next month.
Although the anal swab fell away for a while, it has made a recent resurgence, and has actually been brought back in Beijing ahead of the Olympics, reports the New York Post, due to the spread of the omicron variant.
So, while China gets away with the release of COVID, builds up its military, and threatens Taiwan, the Chinese government embarrasses our diplomats with anal probing. I’m not saying government bureaucrats don’t deserve the abuse, but China is just laughing at us at this point.
