Teachers Vow to Defy Virginia Governor’s Order, Promise to Exclude and Bully Maskless Students

Teachers Vow to Defy Virginia Governor’s Order, Promise to Exclude and Bully Maskless Students

Even after newly-elected Governor Glenn Youngkin walked into his office on the first day and tossed out all public school mask mandates, it seems there is a good portion of teachers who would rather keep the students muzzled indefinitely. A report in the Washington Free Beacon details that several teachers in various Virginia public school districts have taken to social media, vowing to ostracize and bully students into wearing masks.

The hysteria amongst teachers might be hitting its peak which is strange seeing as how they’ve all, presumably, been vaccinated, and omicron is far less deadly than any variant before it. But while these facts do nothing to calm their ignorant conniption fits, Arlington Public Schools and Alexandria County Public Schools point to “CDC data” to say masking works to help stop the spread.

Several teachers have posted on their personal or work Facebook pages, voicing opposition to allowing students to go maskless, even going so far as to say they will refuse students access to their classrooms.

“Kids will not be allowed in mine [sic] class without a mask. No mask, no entry. If my boss has a problem with that, then she has a choice. Either she wants me there or not.”

Well, you shouldn’t be there, dipweed. And I hope you get fired immediately.

Another teacher constructed an “isolation bubble” for herself, so she can treat her students as if they’re all lepers.

“FWIW — If they aren’t willing to mask, I’m not coming out from my soon to be upgraded isolation bubble. No mask? You’re on your own… Good luck!”

And others stated that “if they [students] want to talk to me. They’ll need to put a mask on,” or that they would force students to sit outside the classroom in the hallway.

But as the Daily Caller notes, none of the teachers seem to be at all worried about the effect masking in schools is having on children. They don’t seem to care. It doesn’t even seem to be on their radar. But we’ve seen the damage masking has done to students, the effects it has had on both their learning and their emotional well-being. Students have even spoken out after years of irrational mask mandates supported by dubious science.

But Virginia schools aren’t exactly known for giving a damn about students. No. These drooling troglodytes are far more concerned with themselves and subverting parents’ authority to be worried about the children left in their charge.

One hopes Youngkin will find a way to force all these teachers out of their jobs. Seeing as how the Department of Education in any state falls under the executive branch, and teachers are employed by the DoE, it would seem simple enough for the head of said branch to just fire them. That’s what needs to happen.

However, in the meantime, we all know public schools are not for learning; their own consultants have said as much. Homeschool your children, ladies and gentlemen. Your children deserve far better than they are getting out of the public education system.
