As part of Joe Biden's botched Afghanistan withdrawal, no one was vetting the refugees as they were being evacuated and brought to our country. Americans were left behind. Afghans who risked their lives helping us in the War on Terror were left behind and promptly "disappeared" by the Taliban. Mohammed Tariq was brought to America to start a new life. One that he started by molesting a three-year-old. The Department of Justice just announced he's been convicted of doing so.
Tariq and the victim were both brought to Camp Upshur in Virginia. Two Marines caught Tariq, who was not related to the child, quote "kissing the child around her face and neck and then touching her chest, genitals and buttocks over her clothing." The three-year-old child tried to pull away, but Tariq kept on molesting.
Upon Tariq's arrest, he said through his interpreter that he did nothing wrong because his actions of molesting a three-year-old were, and I quote, "part of his culture." This is according to official court records. There is a document that quotes a grown-man saying molesting a three-year-old is part of his culture. Let that one simmer for a bit.
The New York Post reports, it's not clear what vetting, if any, Tariq went through before being brought to America. Senate Republicans said in a memo last October that the Biden Administration "had not vetted the information provided by tens of thousands of Afghans and instead chose to rely solely on criminal and terrorist databases to weed out potential threats."
The trial lasted a day before Tariq's conviction. He faces up to life in prison and will be sentenced on April 26th. At which point Tariq will discover what happens to pedophiles in prison as part of his new culture.
