'We Won't Teach Kids to Hate Each Other': Ron DeSantis Gives Blunt Rejection of Critical Race Theory

Ron DeSantis, like anyone not a progressive douchelord, opposes "Critical Race Theory." It shouldn't be controversial to say we shouldn't teach kids that everything about them is racist or send them home with assignments on how much their parents suck for being white. But the news-entertainment industrial complex disagrees. That's why effective messaging is key, especially if someone is considering running for president. I'm not saying Ron DeSantis is that guy, but IF he's the guy, this is pitch-perfect.

It's offensive to the taxpayer that they would be asked to fund critical race theory. That they would be asked to fund teaching kids to hate their country and hate each other. It's also based on false history when they try to look back and denigrate the founding fathers, denigrate the American Revolution. Doing all these different things that even very liberal historians say are not supported by the facts.

We need the constitution back in classrooms. We need to make sure civics is a priority. But it needs to be taught accurately. It needs to be taught in a fact-based way. Not an ideologically based way. And if we need o play Whack-a-mole all over this state stopping this critical race theory, we will do it.

Point-by-point breakdowns that include specific points, charts, and sources will come from America's Governor later. That's the micro. The macro is the argument over critical race theory can be broken into two groups.

The first group is our virtue-signaling media, leftist school board members, and "race consultants" who get paid an insane monthly retainer to tell everyone they're racist if they don't listen to the race consultants. The second group are parents of students the first group is trying to further divide for political reasons. Parents, who contrary to what the first group wants you to believe, include members of all races and all genders. Parents see through who these school board members pushing this division actually are.

DeSantis's messaging speaks to that second group. Concerned parents who might not be natural allies of the right. But on this issue, and an increasing number of issues that Biden Democrats are going too far to the left on, there can be common ground. If the right is to be successful in 2024, it's going to take a leader who can speak to THOSE voters. Ron DeSantis is someone clearly able to do so.
