Social media influencer Rep. AOC has a side hustle as a member of Congress. She's one of the least effective members of Congress, but every so often she says something silly we all have a chuckle over. Congresswoman AOC took part in a hearing on Thursday to defend abortion factory Planned Parenthood for all the good the company does. After an unrelated rant about how Republicans can't call ourselves "pro-life" because we think criminals should be punished for being criminals, Rep. AOC made her pitch on how Planned Parenthood is, like, totally awesome.
Let's talk about how many lives Planned Parenthood has saved and how many babies have been born ...
Planned Parenthood aborted over 300,000 babies in 2019. The most since 2011.
And if you don't believe it ...

... and if you've never met a Planned Parenthood baby, I'm happy to let you know that I am one.
She then claims her mother had to rely on Planned Parenthood for "prenatal care." I know if Rep. AOC said she landed here from the planet Krypton to save this planet from climate change, the media would blindly believe it. But Rep. AOC comes from wealthy, upper-middle-class Westchester. Her mother most likely saw what's referred to in some cultures as an actual "doctor." I know that's not part of the "I'm just a bartender from the Boogie-down" narrative she created for herself. But c'mon now.
Though Rep. AOC proudly calling herself a "Planned Parenthood baby" is kinda cute. When I think of both the organization and any of Congresswoman AOC's policy ideas, the word "abortion" does come to mind. Rep. AOC is nothing if not unintentionally hillarious.
