Warning: China Is Building Up a 'World Class' Military as Threats to Taiwan Loom

When China isn't busy locking away religious minorities is camps, its laser focused on the goal of taking over Taiwan. And new reports reviewed by Military Times suggests the dastardly commies are working hard to prepare their military to rival even the United States'.

The goals set for China to reach its new superpower status is set at 2049, and though that may seem like a long time away, they have managed to make incredible strides in recent years.

Networking and data systems improvement hit a preset goal in 2020. China now looks to toward improving strike capabilities, space assets, cyber warfare improvements, and building up the nuclear stockpile. I wonder if the military leaders of the CCP would warn us if they were about to attack? Probably not, so can we get General Milley to stop his Benedict Arnold impersonation?

The standing active-duty force of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) already rivals that of the U.S.—both of which stand at 975,000 and 920,000, respectively—but the U.S. also boasts a reserve force that brings the total number of readily available service members to 2.3M. Perhaps if China can whip their men into shape those numbers will climb.

China also has a way to go before its fleet of military armaments catches up to the U.S., but they are well on their way. The PLA Navy is the largest in the world, and the combined air assets of the PLA Air Force and Navy make up the third-largest. China is, without a doubt, going to be a real threat in the future, if they aren't already.

The threat presented by the CCP is one that must be taken seriously, especially as those at the head of the monster have already moved on Hong Kong, threatened Taiwan, and told the United States to mind their own business or else.
