Self-defense is a big topic in the news this month. Another example is what this Ring camera captured in Philadelphia. Three armed dinkuses attempted to rob a guy delivering food. What they didn't expect was the driver to be a concealed carrier. This video isn't graphic. It's mostly a lot of screaming, some gunfire, and idiots pleading as they suddenly regret their life choices.
According to a local NBC affiliate, the driver had just returned home after midnight on Saturday. He dropped off the food for his family, and then went back out to his car. That's when Dinkus #1, Dinkus #2, and Dinkus #3 came up from behind him. Dinkus #1 and Dinkus #2 pulled guns on him. When the man said he had money in the car, Dinkus #3 started to search through. This was the distraction the man needed. The man, who was legally armed, pulled out his gun started firing. The three Dinkuses fled and pleaded for him to stop. Dinkus #1 didn't make it. Dinkus #2 is in critical condition. Dinkus #3 is on the lamb.
This is a perfect example on why gun rights are so important. Right now, this is a story about two criminals being shot doing criminal things. If the driver wasn't armed, it could very well be a story about a homicide. Possibly, multiple homicides if the three dinkuses then went into the driver's house and killed his family.
