Ted Cruz Hits Back Hard Against Anthony "the Science" Fauci's Attacks, Makes Four Points to Prosecute Fauci

Anthony Fauci is an unelected government bureaucrat and a media whore who rose to prominence in 2020 due to him not being Donald Trump. He also has the word "Doctor" before his name, so the media trots him out to talk about the latest pandemic news like the planet devouring Omicron. He also has a track record of getting things wrong. His NIH also may have funded the research that led to the 'rona, but that's to be determined. Ted Cruz is one of the people who want to get to the bottom of it. Fauci, who thinks he is literally "the science," lashed out at the senator.

As an aside, no one is playing politics in science. The problem is the politics in "the science," which is anything unelected government bureaucrats like Fauci, the CDC, and the people who control Joe Biden say it is. But the specific issue here, and why Cruz wants Fauci prosecuted, is that it is believed "the science" Fauci lied under oath about NIH funding.

Senator Cruz hit back hard:

Cruz followed with four facts. First, on May 11 of this year, Fauci testified before a Senate Committee that “the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.” Second, on October 20, the NIH admitted to funding experiments at the Wuhan Institute dealing with the modification of spike proteins in bat coronaviruses to see if they could bind to human ACE2 receptors, i.e. gain-of-function.

I should point out that the NIH changed the definition of "gain-of-function" research. Much like how the CDC changed the definition of vaccines. Both definition changes were meant to cover their @sses.

Back to Sen. Cruz, his third point was that "Fauci’s statement and the NIH’s October 20 letter cannot both be true. The statements are directly contradictory." Finally, 18 USC 1001 makes it a felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison, to lie to Congress.

Ted Cruz doesn't want Anthony Fauci prosecuted because, in Fauci's world, prosecuting Fauci would be no different than prosecuting science. Cruz wants Fauci prosecuted because of the words that came out of Fauci's mouth under oath. There are people who want to get to the bottom of where the 'rona came from. And, if that person is Anthony Fauci, believe that maybe we shouldn't be blindly listening to him just because he calls himself "the science."
