Now that Kyle Rittenhouse has been found not guilty, all eyes turn to see if he's going to sue the pants off everyone in the media. You know, what with the lies and the untruths and the abject stupidity by any blue-checkmark liberal. The first thing Rittenhouse attorney Mark Richards did, after blasting Joe Biden, is blast the media for their lies, and he's naming names: Joe Scarborough and Joe Reid. Or whoever was guest-hosting Joy Reid's show on the day he's talking about, as opposed to all the other days in which Joy Reid lies herself.
The irony in all this? Richards says he actually ENJOYS CNN and MSNBC.
"When I hear Joe Scarborough saying that my client shot his gun 60 times, that's wrong. When I hear some guest host on the Joy Reid (sic) say that my client drove four hours to go to a riot with his AR, that's wrong. It's false, and it makes me angry that they can't take the time to at least get the generic basic facts correct because it didn't fit the story they wanted to tell."
What Richards is talking about specifically is what was said DURING the trial. He acknowledge all the falsehoods that were repeated prior to the trial starting, but MSNBC and CNN in their "reporting" on the trial itself were saying things that were patently untrue.
Defamation cases against the media are hard to win. I hope Rittenhouse tries. And I plan to contribute to his legal fund if he does.
