In 1992, a young Brodigan innocently asked his US History teacher who she liked in the presidential primary. The teacher looked slightly panicked because, in the bygone era of the last century, it was frowned upon for teachers to express political opinions in the classroom. I think of that moment a lot when I read stories like this high school teacher who went on an anti-Kyle Rittenhouse rant.
