Wendy Rittenhouse has been in the media lately. She's accused Joe Biden of defaming her son by calling him a white supremacist. Also, Joe Biden may want to lawyer up. Today was the day DOOCY got to question Jen Psaki on it. Today is also why Psaki keeps an emergency bottle of tequila in her desk drawer. What follows is a video of their exchange and my dramatic interpretation of the matter.
DOOCY: Why did Joe Biden call Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist? Rittenhouse is white, and he's accused of shooting three other white people. Does Joe Biden know what white supremacy means?
PSAKI: I can't talk about the court case or what happened at the peaceful protests.
DOOCY: They were setting buildings on fire.
PSAKI: Meh.
DOOCY: Wendy Rittenhouse has accused Joe Biden of defaming her son for votes.
PSAKI: It worked, didn't it?
DOOCY: Wait, what?
PSAKI: Sorry, I forgot when thoughts make sounds, you can hear them.
You knew Psaki wasn't going to answer. Claiming she couldn't because of the trial was an easy go-to move. It was still fun to see the question asked and her squirm. An appetizer, if you will. Something to hold us over until the next time Biden takes questions from the press an it's DOOCY's turn.
