Matthew McConaughey was supposed to be the Democrats' hope to beat Greg Abbott in Texas. That was until the actor upset the anti-science liberal base. McConaughey came out AGAINST mandating the Fauci Ouchie on kids. He got the shot but thinks it's different for his children. According to The Hill, both he and his wife are all jabbed up. Not because he was told to, but because he chose to.
When it comes to his kids and a therapeutic that has only been approved for a week?
"I couldn't mandate having to vaccinate the younger kids. I still want to find out more information."
"Right now I'm not vaccinating [my children], I'll tell you that."
Randos on Twitter blew up. "He's crazy and gross!" "I lost all respect for him!" "Who the fuck cares what noted vaccine expert and epidemiologist Matthew McConaughey thinks?!" Mind you, a lot of these same people wanted him to run for governor when they agreed with him on abortion and mask mandates. They also spent the past week taking vaccine advice from noted vaccine expert and epidemiologist Big Bird. But an actor wanting to make decisions as a parent? That's too far!
McConaughey has always been a mixed bag when he's dipped his toe into cultural issues. He's said a lot of things readers of the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website agree with. But he doesn't always know what he doesn't know. In this case, Matthew McConaughey is right, and leftists attacking him are on the wrong side of history. They also didn't learn their lesson from the 2021 election: we don't take kindly to the government coming after our children.
Adults choosing (or being forced to choose) the jab is one thing. They can assess risk as adults, and choose to take that risk, It's another thing to force an untested risk on kids. Unlike the vaccines mandated for kids to go to school, that liberal twats smugly throw in your face, the Fauci Ouchie has NOT been tested and studied for a decade before it was mandated. People who think 5- to 12-year-olds should be mandated to stick a needle in their arm a week after it was approved by unelected bureaucrats aren't "following the science." They are following the politics.
Liberals and the media (but I repeat myself) are about to find out McConaughey isn't the only parent who feels this way. He also won't be the only parent attacked by liberals and the media.
