Watch: Rittenhouse Trial Judge Acknowledges Veterans Day, Applauds Veteran in the Courtroom for His Service

There have been a lot of developments in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. Some moments go unnoticed. On Thursday, sometime between making a joke about food and having to explain to ADA Thomas Binger how the law works, Judge Schroeder took a moment to acknowledge Veterans Day and any veterans who were in the courtroom. John Black, the defense's use-of-force expert, said he was an Army veteran. So Judge Schroeder, who was wearing an American flag tie, gave him a round of applause.

Of course, not everyone found this patriotic. Liberals have their fangs out for Judge Shroeder as it is. This guy with "resist" and "wear a mask" in his Twitter bio was literally shaking.

This isn't the first time Judge Schroeder has singled out veterans for their service. During jury selection, as reported by the Associated Press, "he called for a round of applause for veterans when he compared the solemnity of jury duty to the seriousness of being drafted. Schroeder also thanked the Marines during Wednesday's court session, and when an officer in the courtroom said he was a Marine, Schroeder called for more applause."

Who woulda thunk? A guy who dedicated himself to the American legal system AND who has "God Bless the USA" as his ringtone also has a soft spot for veterans!
