Wife of Boston Marathon Hero: Joe Biden Inappropriately Touched Me

President Trump announced he tested positive for COVID-19, so I'm not going to begin to guess what this means for the upcoming debates. However, if there is another one, I know what I want him to bring up: this report from the Washington Examiner about the wife of a police officer who was injured during the Boston Marathon bombing. Kim Donohue alleged in 2013 and 2016 Facebook posts (one has since been deleted) that Joe Biden inappropriately touched her and made her feel uncomfortable during a remembrance ceremony. For the Boston bombing. At which time, Joe Biden was vice president.

""Look at those eyes, where did you get those eyes?" Donohue wrote. "Anyone else as good looking as you in that family ... those eyes are mesmerizing, people must just do whatever you say."

Biden then asked if I wanted to ride in a car with him down to a ceremony we were all attending at the Marathon finish line," Donohue wrote. "He led me down a black hallway (Dic of course followed) and I got inside the most uncomfortable 3 person car ride I have ever been in."

The Examiner confirmed that she made the statements, but she refused to discuss them further. Someone close to Donohue said that her politics have since changed and she supports Biden now. So that makes the inappropriate touching ... okay?

I generally don't play the whataboutism game. But if a woman had accused Donald Trump of bad touching but had since decided she's a supporter of his, there is no alternate Earth in the entire multiverse where CNN or the New York Times would ever leave her alone. NOT that I want to see Donohue or anyone else making similar claims get attacked by the media. Just pointing out that they would be if the political party was on the other foot. But I would like to see Biden made uncomfortable.
