Democrats can't beat Amy Coney Barrett. Actually, every supreme court decision they made over the past four years has been stupid. They filibustered Neil Gorsuch, forcing Cocaine Mitch to institute the 'Harry Reid Rule' eliminating the filibuster. They abused their usual scorched Earth tactics with Brett Kavanaugh. They had nothing left for Amy Coney Barrett, who judicially pantsed them anyway (see SEN. COONS ATTACKS AMY CONEY BARRETT'S INTEGRITY. HER RESPONSE IS PITCH-PERFECT. and SENATOR CORNYN ASKS TO SEE AMY CONEY BARRETT'S NOTES. SHE HOLDS UP A BLANK NOTEBOOK!). The only thing left to do was abandon their jobs and in an act of one final cheap political stunt, boycott the committee vote. Ted Cruz for one was not amused.
