Don Lemon thinks he's got us, fam. One-third of CNN's Three Tenors of Douche — Cuomo and Stelter are the other two — always brings the unintentional hilarity (see CNN'S DON LEMON LECTURES TERRY CREWS: BLACK LIVES MATTER DOESN'T MEAN ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER and DON LEMON KILLS PARODY, TELLS CHRIS CUOMO 'JESUS WASN'T PERFECT'). But this time, he's on to us. He figured out our scam. Our secrets are exposed. Don Lemon figured out that the reason why conservatives don't want to pay higher taxes is so that we can have more of our money to do fun things with. Credit to Newsbusters for this bombshell.
Don Lemon really thinks he owned us here. Do you feel owned? I don't feel owned. Conservatives don't hide the fact that the main reason we don't want the government raising taxes on our hard-earned money is because it's our hard-earned money to spend. Sure, some taxes are fine. Cover first responders. Kick in a little for bridges and roads, and maybe a park here or there. But other than that, it's our money to spend. If we want to help out those less fortunate, we'll make that decision ourselves. As conservatives do much more than liberals like Don Lemon do.
Lemon says he's okay with paying higher taxes to "help the less fortunate," but he doesn't. He pays higher taxes to the government and trusts them to do it. If it's all the same, I'll give money to organizations that I actually trust to get the job done. If i want to use the rest to buy a dune buggy just to do donuts with the American flag waving and Luke Combs blasting through the speakers, I'mma live my best life doing just that.
