Thursday is Day 4 of the Amy Coney Barrett hearings. Senators should be getting ready to give their closing statements. The forecast calls for an 85% chance of sanctimony, with a wintery mix of bloviating. Democrats have behaved as expected (see SEN. COONS ATTACKS AMY CONEY BARRETT'S INTEGRITY. HER RESPONSE IS PITCH-PERFECT. and KLOBUCHAR CHALLENGES JUDGE BARRETT ON ROE V. WADE. MY WHAT A FACE PLANT.). Especially Kamala Harris, whose entire line of questions was designed not to question Judge Barrett on judicial issues, but to paint her as every bad right-wing stereotype found on the "Big Stupid Idiots for Biden" Facebook page. Then it was Sen. Kennedy's turn to question.
