If the pleas coming from the empty-headed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez weren’t enough to convince you that the movement to pay off trillions of dollars in student loan debt is bullsh!t, perhaps one of her besties can do the trick.
Representative Rashida Tlaib made a similar argument for student loan forgiveness. However, unlike Crazy-Eyes Cortez, who explicitly said, as part of her argument, that she had not gone to graduate school because it meant incurring hundreds of thousands of debt on top of what she already owed, Tlaib withdrew student loans for the purpose of attending law school.

She wants people to feel sorry for her. Her sob story includes the caveat that she didn’t choose to go into corporate law or something but chose instead to work for non-profits associated with lefty causes. I don’t think this quite makes the case she’s trying to make here.
It sounds like Tlaib made a series of stupid choices to me. She took out a truckload of debt, and instead of taking a job that would allow her to pay off said debt, she took a job that made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. She’s an idiot who wants the American people to pay for her bad decision-making.
But also, just like AOC, she works in f*cking Congress! She makes plenty of money for doing next to nothing! This lazy ingrate has the audacity to ask Americans of every socioeconomic class, including those at the bottom, to pay her loan debts for no other reason than because she doesn’t want to spend her own unearned money doing so!
She, like many others in our government, are leeches on the system, and in the case of student loan debt, Tlaib just wants to suck a little harder and get a little more blood (read: money) out of it.
Tlaib is a greedy, irresponsible vermin just like AOC, just like every other person calling for their debts to be paid by other people. Don’t let these communists convince you otherwise.
