Fentanyl Becomes the No. 1 Cause of Death for US Adults

Fentanyl Becomes the No. 1 Cause of Death for US Adults

As we go into the holiday season with the lamentations of Joe Biden and Tony Fauci screeching through television screens about the spread of Omicron, Americans ages 18-45 can rest a little easier to know that they are more likely to die from fentanyl overdose than COVID. You might remember fentanyl as the drug that George Floyd was hopped up on when he died.

As reported by Fox News, from 2020 to 2021, fentanyl overdoses overtook COVID, car accidents, cancer, and suicide as the number one cause of death among Americans between the ages of 18 and 45.

“Between 2020 and 2021, nearly 79,000 people between 18 and 45 years old […] died of fentanyl overdoses. […] Comparatively, between Jan. 1, 2020, and Dec. 15, 2021, there were more than 53,000 COVID-19 deaths among those between the ages of 18 and 49.”

Fentanyl is one of the main imports coming across the southern border illegally, along with murderers and sex-trafficked women and children. The Biden Administration still refuses to do anything to stem the tides of illegal immigration pouring across the border.

Is there a silver lining here, though? Perhaps. Stay away from doing drugs that could be laced with fentanyl and your chances of surviving are much better. So, stay off drugs, kids!
