Biden Sells Infrastructure Plan Spouting Old Man Gibberish That ... Maybe You Can Figure Out What He's Saying

Joe Biden was criticized last week by his stans in the media. They said he wasn't doing much to sell Americans on his infrastructure plan. You know, the thing. The thing that is $3.5 Trillion dollars full of soggy dreams that aren't actually infrastructure. Biden told reporters he was busy watching the weather and ignoring the many other crises he's responsible for. But reporters had a point, so Biden hit the road. And he reminded his aides why they prefer him staying home and failing to unite his party.

Here's a clip making the rounds of Joe Biden selling his plan to ... honestly, the hell if I know. This is some quality, old man gibberish.

"When you're building charging stations like how my grandpop used to do back before they had electricity to charge the station with. They would bury barrels of oil under the ground and hope it grew a giant beanstalk. Then they would chop down that beanstalk and sell it at the fair for a nickel. Then they would bury the nickel. Kamala calls me a giant beanstalk. I think that's hippity hop slang. I just pooped."

Later on in the speech, he also made the claim that his $3.5 trillion dollar plan doesn't cost the American people any money. That's not old man gibberish. It's just good, old-fashion, down-home liberal bullshit. But if Biden is good at anything, it's economic illiteracy.

It's anyone's guess where infrastructure, reconciliation, and/or "Build Back Better" is going to wind up. You would assume at some point Krysten Sinema and Joe Manchin are going to sell out and claim they compromised. Until that happens, at least we have Joe Biden trying to explain things to amuses ourselves.
