If Australia was any other country, soldiers being told they weren't allowed home because of quarantine would be a shocking story. Instead, because Australia is the authoritarian butthole of the southern hemisphere, it barely makes the top five. Sky News has the exclusive.

We all hope the Australian government gets around to giving the country's brave soldiers an exception to be able to stay in a hotel. Again, if this were any other country, this would be shocking. But we're talking about Australia.
