Queen Nancy Pelosi Uses a Shut Down Salon for a Little Self-Care and the Salon Owner is Not Pleased

Queen Nancy Pelosi Uses a Shut Down Salon for a Little Self-Care and the Salon Owner is Not Pleased

We're roughly 160 plus days into 15 days to flatten the curve, and as I was getting ready to YouTube "how to cut my own hair" (I'm serious), Nancy Pelosi on Monday waved her scepter and ordained herself important enough to use an expert for hers. In exclusive footage made available to FoxNews.com, her royal smugness can be seen traipsing about the shut down salon, donning her backwards black cape and wet hair, no face mask covering her covid-dispenser. It almost appears as if Pelosi isn't super concerned a killer Chinese virus is going to knock her down in a fitful cough.

Nancy Pelosi's minions say their stuttering leader followed all the decrees to a tee. They say Nancy essentially made an appointment for a little pampering and snip snip and was in the salon all by her lonesome (aside from the yammering voices inside her head), and thus she's totally above board. If not above the rest of us.

But the San Francisco salon owner, Erica Kious, is crying bull-caca.

"It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can't work," Kious told Fox News, adding that she "can't believe" the speaker didn't have a mask on. (From the footage, it appears Pelosi had some kind of covering around her neck.)

"We're supposed to look up to this woman, right?" Kious said. "It is just disturbing."

According to FoxNews, the big no-no wasn't necessarily failing to wear a face diaper. It was needing her coif poofed.

Kious said Pelosi received a wash and a blow-dry, but told Fox News that "you're not supposed to blow dry hair" according to coronavirus safety precautions for hair salons. "We have been shut down for so long, not just me, but most of the small businesses and I just can't – it's a feeling – a feeling of being deflated, helpless and honestly beaten down," Kious said.

Oh and that. While Nancy is getting the royal treatment, the rest of us are wondering how we trim our split ends without our do looking like a six-year-old had too much fun with mommy's cosmetic bag.

So here the salon owner has likely been told she's non-essential, that she can't provide for herself, she can't work at the very business she has built for the last 12 years. But when Nancy Pelosi, who's just two heart beats from the presidency, wants a cut and a blowout, well then screw the rules, Nancy needs the star treatment.

Riddle me this: does anyone seeing Nancy parade about like this still think COVID-19 is a big, scary virus? Sure doesn't look like Nancy does.
