A tip of the the 47 Brand mesh hat to Barstool for sharing this story, because I haven't seen it anywhere else. At least, not as widespread as a story about earning the Medal of Honor should be. If Trump "awarded" the medal to a dog, then maybe (see TRUMP TWEETED A PICTURE OF A DOG, AND THE FAKE NEWS IS INVESTIGATING and DONALD TRUMP HAD CONAN, A VERY GOOD BOY, TO THE WHITE HOUSE). But this is the tale of Sgt. Maj. Thomas "Patrick" Payne, a Ranger who helped rescue about 70 hostages set to be executed by Islamic State militants in Iraq.

A reporter for the Associated Press just shared the helmet cam footage of this stunning raid.

I know most of the media today is going to be focused on a Rorschach test based on how much you like or dislike the commander in chief and how much you believe or don't believe anonymous sources. I'd rather focus on Sgt. Maj. Payne's stunning bravery. May God bless him and his brothers.
