A 67-foot tall statue of Jesus Christ stands in Arkansas. That statue now has a "God Bless Abortion" sign hanging on it. Because that's who pro-abortion zealots are as people.
When progressive douchelords advocate for an issue, they do it in the most bitter, toxic way possible. The worst examples are pro-abortion protesters. There was a time where "safe, legal, and rare" was considered the common ground that, if you disagreed, you were the problem. That was a bygone error. Long before activists thought holding a mock abortion on the Virgin Mary was helpful. Way before the media celebrated people who got abortions at twenty-six weeks. And before the Democrat Party effectively worked infanticide into their platform. Not even their dogs are safe from their radical agenda.
This is the handy work of Indecline, an "activist art collective." Indecline was nice enough to include a mission statement with their handiwork. It's your usual collection of pro-abortion buzzwords. The "artists' were upset there is a statue of Jesus and only one abortion clinic in the state. This bit is particularly entertaining.
We think Jesus would understand the concept of a difficult decision. He supposedly had to make a few of them and understood sacrifice very intimately.
Jesus sacrificed of HIMSELF. Pro-abortion zealots want to sacrifice other lives for themselves. Key difference.
We aren't necessarily "pro-choice" or "anti-life," those terms are double-speak. We just think abortion is a goddamn miracle worth celebrating. It saves lives, but those lives are usually female.
Abortion ends lives, and there's a 50/50 chance those lives are female. Even the most strict abortion restrictions have an exception if the life of the mother is threatened, including in Arkansas. And as for abortion being a 'goddamn miracle,' really ... just, f*ck you.
So what have we accomplished here children? You used a monument of Jesus Christ to shout your abortion. If your only goal was to insult believers, meh. All this sign does is strengthen convictions and prove what they think about you is accurate. It's not going to change the law. No one on the fence is going to be inspired to take up arms for your cause. If anything, you just drove more people away. Also, if the sign isn't down yet, it will be soon.
Nothing changed. Anyone other than the people in your collective thinks you're a collective of schmucks. Good job all around.
