Soda is one of the unhealthiest things you can put in your body. It's readily available to children in urban areas all throughout the country. Coca-Cola thinks that's okay though because they're woke! As long the company makes sure its white employees feel bad about themselves, Coke is absolved of all sins. So sayeth the Mainframe of Woke Sh*tc*nts known as the progressive left. Or, so sayeth the racial equity consultant Coke pays an insane retainer to so that people leave them alone on Twitter. It's less the shameless pandering and more the gross hypocrisy. That's the point new advocacy group Consumers' Research wants to make with this new campaign.

Consumers' Research has previous released ads targeting Nike and American Airlines.. CR executive director Will Hil said the satirical ad is to highlight the company choosing politics over customers, to "amplify the voice of consumers fed up with how the company is failing them and as a warning to Coke and other companies." It's part of a new seven-figure campaign.

One could argue how much a soda company cares about its customers, socially aware or otherwise. It sells liquified fructose with some additives. But that's more a personal observation, and we're here to laugh at a funny commercial.

The whole concept of companies going woke is mind-numbingly silly. The people who demand ideological obedience from companies are never satisfied. The customers who actually use your product get turned off. And the people in the middle who don't care one way or the other make their decision based on what's on sale 4 for $5. Not whether Dr. Pepper released a statement praising Laurel Hubbard or criticizing a voting bill they never read.

I am however looking forward to when they go after Victoria's Secret. That should be entertaining.
