Library Hosts Children's Reading Time with a 'Rainbow D**** B*** Monkey.' Apologizes After

It used to be safe to drop your kids off for story time at the library. In a bygone era, story time used to mean someone dressed up as the Cat in the Hat or Snow White. Now it means someone dressed up as a, and I quote, "Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey." At least this happened in England. Things are bad in America. They're really bad in America. But they're not Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey bad. Yet. (h/t The Post Millennial)

A grown man. Dressed as a rainbow monkey. And without me saying it, you can figure out where the other two words come into focus. Parents, as you can imagine, were not amused. Yes, even in socialist England.

I saw Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey open for the Bouncing Souls in 1998.

The library has issued an apology that "one of the animal costumes was inappropriate," claiming they were not aware of it at the time. Also, the town council has let the company that produced the Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey know they are very cross with them. I'm sure that will learn them!

Snark aside, this is disgusting and abusive. People should be broken into two groups. A group of people who think exposing children to a Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey is offensive. And a group of people who should be put on a list of registered sex offenders and kept 100 yards away from schools. Anyone who gets off "performing" in front of children with a phallic up their keister should been bludgeoned with it.

I also call bullsh*t on the library and/or whoever booked the "performers" claiming they didn't know what they were getting. Because if a Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey isn't what they're known for, I'd hate to know what they're known for.

Parents aren't even safe any more bringing their kids to a public library. Think about that.
