Kamala Harris has been put in charge of something else Joe Biden wants to deal with. After her horrendous failure in dealing with our border crisis, Biden wants her to be put in charge of opposing voter integrity laws. Biden tried lying and claiming laws were racist. When that didn't work, he was fresh out of ideas. Now it's Harris' turn. The vice president appeared on CBS This Morning. Sounds like voter ID laws are off the table. Why? According to our veep, not everyone has a Kinko's or an OfficeMax.
Because in some people's mind, that means, well, you're going to have to Xerox or photocopy your ID to send it in to prove that you are who you are. Well, there are a whole lot of people, especially people who live in rural communities, who don't — there's no Kinko's, there's no OfficeMax near them.
Spare me the concern about "rural" areas. Democrats would prefer things were harder for people in rural areas since people in rural areas tend not to vote for Democrats. But these rural areas ... do they have a public library? I've never been to a library that doesn't have a copy machine. It's the main reason people even go to the library. Even if this fictional rural voter can't walk to a Kinko's, they can still get photocopies made.
People have to understand what would be required of them to prove who they are. Of course, people have to prove who they are, but not in a way that makes it almost impossible for them to prove who they are.

This crap Democrats spread about the difficulty of obtaining ID does not jibe with facts. Americans across all races overwhelming support voter ID laws. ID is easy to get. Is it possibly easier for some people to get than others? Sure, I guess. But here's the thing: Every American has the same amount of time to get their ID. it's not like Election Day sneaks up on us. It's the same Tuesday in November every year. If you care enough about this country to vote for who leads us, you have 364 days EVERY YEAR to make sure you have proper identification, know where you have to go to vote, and vote.
All a voter has to do is give a hoot in the first place. If they don't, maybe they shouldn't be voting.
