Ashton Kutcher always seemed like a solid dude. There are political disagreements and some issues he's wrong on. But unlike a lot of celebrities, he's usually not a dick about it. You can have a beer, respectfully disagree, then move on to other things. He also, instead of chasing whatever the issue du jour is that Hollywood PR firms are pushing on their clients, zeroes in on his own issue: protecting children. He's testified before Congress about human trafficking and puts his money where his mouth is to fight it. Kutcher is also concerned about his own kids and social media, especially TikTok.
I usually cringe when celebrities get involved with TikTok. They're usually too busy thinking about their bank accounts to speak out against China. Kutcher did none of those things and was brutally honest about the app and the country that owns it on the "American Optimist" podcast.
