Brandon Brown Announces Sponsorship With 'Let's Go, Brandon' Crypto Coin but NASCAR Is Being Jerks About It

NASCAR driver Brandon Brown has announced a new sponsor. Yes, THAT Brandon Brown, of "Let's Go, Brandon" fame. Brown was having trouble finding sponsors when his name became a euphemism for telling Joe Biden to go f*** himself. The driver didn't want to get involved in politics, but when politics decided to get involved with him, a decision had to be made. His new sponsor is (pause for dramatic effect)... LGBcoin. Brandon Brown is being sponsored by a cryptocurrency inspired by people chanting "Let's Go, Brandon."

LGBcoin is a collectible meme coin created so owners can "digitally voice their support for America and the American dream." Brown thanked LGBcoin for their incredible support, adding "From wondering if we would have the financial means to continue to compete, to my first major win (at Talladega no less), to becoming an unintentional meme, this past season was a rollercoaster."

The rub is, according to NASCAR, they are still "reviewing the details." They told Brown's team this AFTER they announced the sponsorship and the design of the car. Max Marcucci, who represents Brown, told USA Today that his team has written approval from NASCAR for the car’s paint scheme and sponsorship for the upcoming season of the Xfinity Series.

You see, while NASCAR is a sport popular throughout most of the country, NASCAR also has corporate offices in New York and Los Angeles. The people who work there need to pander to people who don't watch NASCAR. No doubt when reporters from New York City called HQ, attacking them for it under the guise of "journalism," the reporters had to be told something.

We'll see how the story develops. The fact that Brandon signed a deal with Brandon crypto is awesome enough. Now, let's get Loza Alexander writing a theme song for the team.
