After this Trump was of course brutally mocked by the media and politicians. SOURCE: Politico , Twitter , USAToday
Politico reported experts don't think he understands the science of wildfires.
USA Today reported the issue will only get worse if Trump ignores the true cause — climate change.
And Gavin Newsom tweeted, "You don't believe in climate change. You are excused from this conversation."
Bloomberg News reported California is going to spend $500 million to clean up its forests to prevent fires. SOURCE: Bloomberg
#4: ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN:
California Judge Benitez overturning the state's three-decade assault weapons ban. In his opinion, Benitez wrote, " Government is not free to impose its own new policy choices on American citizens where constitutional rights are concerned." SOURCE: New York Times
On Monday, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals blocked Benitez's ruling, pending further review. SOURCE: Washington Post
#3 HOMELESSNESS:

From 2017 to 2018, there were 883 drug sale arrests.
640 of which were prosecuted.
173 resulted in convictions.
80.3% of those convicted led to probation with some time served.

DAVID CHIPMAN DONATED TO DEMOCRATS
FEC individual contributions data show David Chipman, Biden's ATF director nominee, donated to prominent Democrat organizations. SOURCE: Mom-at-Arms.com
In 2020 Chipman gave:
$120 ActBlue PAC.
and $500 to Biden for President.
But to be fair, he did give $2,000 to a "Republican" organization ... the Lincoln Project.
There are even records of him donating to Obama back in 2008 as well.
David Chipman's wife, Tara, has given some $22,000 to Democratic organizations and politicians, including $1,000 to Biden's campaign.
So that's a total of nearly $27,000 to Democratic organizations in 2020.
BIDEN GUN VIOLENCE DEBUNK
Yesterday, Joe Biden said, "The gun lobby wants you to believe that cities that have the toughest gun laws still have the highest rates of gun violence ... don't believe it."
