Failed Pillow Salesman David Hogg Lectures Rich People, Doesn't Understand How Minimum Wage Works

Don't let my snark fool you. I was actually rooting for David Hogg's pillow venture. Creating jobs, adding to the economy, being a useful member of society ... Hogg may have actually found himself in the asset column. Instead, the company failed and Harvard's most popular student went back to doing what he does best: Tweeting dumb things. The sad thing is, he's not even trying with that either. Hogg basically just takes whatever the progressive talking point of the day is and Zoomers it up. Here he is talking about billionaires not deserving what they've earned.

Yes. A guy who only exists because of exploiting a tragedy at his school is attacking other people he claims don't deserve their status in life. An average brain can't process so much irony.

Making the federal minimum wage $7.25 an hour it would take you working 24/7 for 1,574,555.1 YEARS to make that much.

You don't make $100 billion by working hard you make it through ridiculously undertaxed compound interest and tax breaks for Wallstreet and not main street at the cost of your workers.

Methinks this may be an attack on Jeff Bezos and Amazon. Hogg followed with a tweet referencing workers "peeing in bottles" and "my issue comes when people are making billions off their workers." Both are common leftist attacks on Bezos. Who, to be fair, besides being a leftist himself, is also a ginormous doucheburrito. One who supports Joe Biden's tax hikes because he knows they won't affect his business and will only affect any smaller business trying to compete with Amazon. We can all find common ground in saying Jeff Bezos sucks at life.

But leftists paint all billionaires, millionaires, and anyone who makes more money than them with the same soy-based paint product. So let's use Bezos as an example here.

Jeff Bezos made his money because he decided the minimum wage wasn't enough for him. Because the minimum wage was never meant to be enough for anybody. It was meant to be a starting point. If you're expecting to be any kind of an -aire on the minimum wage, you're a nincompoop who is lucky other -aires created your job.

Jeff Bezos also didn't make his billions by exploiting his workers. He made it creating a product and a business that revolutionized the world. Case in point: I've got ten bucks saying David Hogg has an Amazon Prime account.

But at the end of the day, billionaires have more money than David Hogg and that isn't fair. He thinks he should have some of it. No wonder hs pillow wasn't good enough.
