I'm not alone in noticing CNN's Brian Stelter has very potato-like qualities. Lumpy. Bland. Lacking character. The only difference is there's a use for potatoes. You can make french fries out of them. Or put them in a salad. The same can't be said of Brian Stelter. His only use seems to be to watch Fox News and be the fodder of cheap jokes by bloggers like me. Hasbro made it really easy last week when it stripped Mr. Potato Head of the "Mister." A genderless Mr. Potato Head basically turns the classic toy into a live-action Brian Stelter doll.
Great minds think alike, because Donald Trump Jr. also noticed the similarities between a newly non-binary toy and CNN's media "reporter."

I was trying to get my kids dinner when my phone started blowing up and OH MY GOD, DONALD TRUMP JR., WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH ME?
I'll let YOU decided if he's crying on the inside. Or if he has enough friends for his phone to "blow up." In Stelter's world, Trump Jr. was purposely trying to get his attention. In the real world, Trump Jr. cracked a joke about someone he believes sucks at life, in front of an audience who also believes Brian Stelter sucks at life. Because Brian Stelter sucks at life. Allegedly. I'm sure Stelter would point to an independent "fact" checker calling that mostly false.
There's only one way to settle this once and for all: a debate between Brian Stelter and Donald Trump Jr. They can even do it on Reliable Sources. RESOLVED: Brian Stelter is NOT a Potato. That would bring in huge ratings!
