Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are set to travel throughout America, selling their "stimulus" bill to the American people. The bill is already signed into law and I'm not sure what they have to sell people on. Having someone give you a check already has strong bipartisan support. But hey, at least Biden is getting out of the house.
Monday: Joe Biden will give a rambling speech at the White House, ignoring reporters shouting questions to him about the crisis on the border. Kamala Harris goes to Nevada.
Tuesday: Joe Biden travels to Pennsylvania, where he'll ignore reporters shouting questions about him not having a press conference. Kamala Harris goes to Colorado.
Wednesday: The spouses will be in New Hampshire and New Mexico to highlight "help for schools." No word on the other two. If I were to guess, Biden will be taking a nap and Harris will be figuring out what rhymes with "25th Amendment."
Thursday: No word on location, but they'll be focusing on how the "stimulus" bill helps you pay back rent and things like that. Probably in an American city somewhere, even though Joe Biden doesn't think they have an internet there.
Friday: Biden and Harris together in Georgia! They'll be bragging about the $1,400 checks people are getting, which is actually costing them $5,700. Governor Stacey Abrams will probably be there. You and I know she isn't actually the governor. But Abrams doesn't, and the White House won't want to confuse Biden any more than they have to. It's bad enough he might stutter and call her Abrams Ham Lincoln. Then remember he's hungry and ask for some ham.
President Biden is still expected to, at least in theory, give a full press conference this month. Next month he's planning to address a joint session of Congress.
