Cannon Hinnant was a five year old kid riding a bike, when a man walked up to him and shot him point blank in the head. All while his two sisters - eight and nine years old respectively - were forced to watch. Cannon's father Austin spoke out after his son's funeral, giving chilling details about what happened. Including the fact that the neighbor who committed this senseless crime was over the night before, just hanging out.

There isn't a punishment cruel or unusual enough to make a guy who shot a five year old in front of his sisters suffer enough. The death penalty is too good for the scumbag who did this. Someone pricks you with a needle and you don't wake up. Big deal. I want this man sentenced to life in prison with the words "I killed a five year old in cold blood" tattooed on his back. I'd say just make him wear a sign, but he'd have to take the sign off in the shower. Where justice will hopefully be served every day for the rest of the guy's life.
