Spare me that this is about George Floyd. I, too, think how the cops treated George Floyd was wrong. Due process, we're all deserving of it. And yes, that due process is also owed to Derek Chauvin. Okay? Okay. But destroying someone's business, then attacking a woman with a 2x4, now people are just being violent thugs because their fathers didn't dole out enough hugs and spankings.
Below are two videos showing violent assholes/thugs/dicks/f*ckfaces (you pick the insult of your choice) in Rochester, New York, attacking a woman and her husband who were just trying to defend their own place of business by *checks notes* using their words.
This is New York, and last I checked, not a gun-friendly zone. Had these business owners had guns, they could've fired back. Sure, had the protesters had guns, they could've fired back. But what we saw was a woman and her husband getting a beat down and not only were they unable to defend themselves, I also noticed that at least in the two videos above, no one came to help.
Shout out to the pasty white boy holding the 2x4 watching this all go down. I hope your mommy is proud of you.
If you're driving and you also have no way of defending yourself or others, there really isn't much you could do. Except for maybe using your car to break it up. Just as a tipperoo.
Anyone else still think this violence has anything to do with Derek Chauvin putting his knee on George Floyd's neck? Because it's looking more and more like an excuse to be violent. Maybe that's just my white privilege talking.
