At some point over the past month, we've gone from "Hey, that cop should be held accountable for putting his knee on that other guy's neck" to "ZOMG, DESTROY ALL THE STATUES!" Like many left-wing political movements, what started with an idea that most people generally agreed with has snowballed into an all-out attack on everything they hate about America (see PURGING HISTORY ISN'T 'WOKE,' IT'S STUPID. DANGEROUSLY STUPID... and #DEFUNDTHEPOLICE? HERE'S THE HORRIFYING WAY SCUMBAGS ARE PROTESTING COPS). Which is pretty much ... America. At this point, they'd tear down a statue of Barack Obama because he wasn't wokeAF enough. The question on many Americans' minds is, why do these criminals get away with these criminal acts?
